Describe the solution you'd like
Cable-backed bows are a bow that the Inuit have been known to create, and would often use cables made from sinew such as driftwood, baleen, horn, or antler in the making of these bows. Perhaps this could make for a unique weapon here? As for how much damage it could do in comparison to a normal bow, that would be up to you.
