Since water and lava can be duplicated with a dripstone under them, and below that a cauldron that fills up with the specific liquid, I did find it odd that we couldn't do the same with Acid.
Despite not behaving like water (in a 2x2 hole they aren't infinite like lava), but much like lava, they can be duplicated through a setup of dripstone and cauldron.

Since the Acid liquid has many usages and is the base ingredient for many recipes in the Toxic Cave, I thought it would not only make sense, but be beneficial to have the Acid behaving like the two other liquid in the setup I mentioned. For instance, Skyblock.
