While making a farm that uses confection ovens, I noticed that the gingerbread men spawned from it follow normal mob despawning mechanics (i.e. slowly despawning if not within 32 blocks of them and immediately despawning if more than 128 blocks away). This can lead to gingerbread men that are holding drops from a farm despawning without putting the drops in the barrel, limiting the use cases for ovens in farm designs
