Alex’s Caves stone blocks do not use the correct sound, this includes: Galena, Limestone, Radrock, Abyssmarine, Guanostone and Corpolith.

To clarify, all vanilla blocks that can be clarified as some variant of stone use the bass_drum instrument, while yours use the default of harp.
