It is not constant, but when moving around the magnetic caves, the particle effects around the neodymium will flash green and can be seen through blocks. I have not been able to have it stay consistently and will flicker between the green particles and the normal particles that generate normally. Not using any mods besides jei and jade with addons for those mods.
