Inconsistent Physics & Block Placement When Extending The Push/Pull Range Of Magnets

By default, the range of a magnet will be 5 blocks, and any metallic block being pushed will have their intended physics.
When using the respective Neodymium Ingots to extend the range of a magnet, it seems as though certain problems arise.
Just using one ingot already proves to be an issue with mobs, as showcased here (also take note of the iron block stopping BEYOND the magnet's range):
Note: I encased the villager in barrier blocks as to not have them drop down prior to magnet activation
While the player remains FAIRLY unaffected by this 1 block extension, using another ingot beyond this point will cause the player to fall through the metal blocks.
