Tremorzilla and Luxtructosaurus do not respect Mobgriefing being disabled

I have a question regarding to Alex' Caves, notably the Tremorzilla and Luxtructosaurus;
I want to set up a server with this mod, but for grief protection reasons, I don't want these mobs be able to break blocks. I have looked into the config and changed the settings that should disable these mobs from destroying the environment. I also disabled mobgriefing in general. Yet they are still able to break blocks.
Is there something I am missing? And if there isn't, would it be possible to add config options that will achieve this in future updates? I am aware block breaking is a big part of these two mobs, but I would appreciate the option to disable it so I can add this wonderful mod to my server and have people play with these crazy mobs without the risk of griefing.
Thank you for your time!
