Minecraft 1.20.1, Alex's Caves 1.1.2. Raygun causes frame rate drops and massively increases GPU usage.

The raygun seems to cause severe fps drops when rendering the 'ray', which also massively increases GPU usage to 90%, sometimes 100%.
The same happens when looking directly at the Raycat, so long as the 'glowing' effect is turned on in the configs.
However, while the cat's fps drops can be fixed using the config, the raygun can not.
- I'm not using any shaders, or have oculus installed, but I am using Embeddium. (Without embeddium, it is even worse.)
- Gpu: Nvidia Quadro 2000.
