When multiple Rocky Rollers get spawned from a spawn egg (this number is usually about a dozen), the game freezes up, but not in the way you'd expect. Mobs do not move and can not be hurt. The inventory and creative mode menu can't be opened, and blocks can not be placed IIRC. The player is still able to move around, however.
