Despite being tamed, nametagged, on leads, and being kept within render/simulation distance raccoons keep randomly disappearing/dying. I haven't noticed this with other mobs (yet) Fr about to make a grown woman cry :( playing on MC 1.18.2 with Alex's Mobs 1.18.5
