It is a mod similar to REI. Forges do not appear in it and all forge recipes are not accessible, though still doable, but not shown. Also taking this issue to EMI if its from their side

We already have compatability for EMI. It was intially disabled for our 1.20 port. It is planned to be re-enabled for next release
