The only explanation for this is that something asynchronously removes npc attack target right after melee AI checked that there is a target set and then the AI crashes like this. There is no code in AW that would do this kind of logic so there is nothing we can fix on our side. I am guessing you either have a core mod that modifies how the AI works or you have a mod that messes with attack targets asynchronously.
