Civilian Males and Females
These are just window dressing at the moment to make NPC settlements seem populated. Players have commented that they would like to see them have some purpose, even if limited. Its been suggested that their drops are beefed up so they are worthwhile slaying for the players – but for each civilian slain there is some sort of big faction penalty – drop in standing with that faction + if killing a certain number – game spawns a small unit of that factions cavalry nearby to attack the offender.
