Right now I cannot see what upgrades are installed in a machine, either by looking externally at the block or looking at the block UI. It would be nice to have a visual badge on the exterior of the block indicating the installed upgrades (like you see with other mods like Storage Drawers). However, I personally think it would be acceptable to have the info reported via the popular HUD mods like The One Probe.
