When killed by the infestation, the bug crawling hud persists upon respawning. The bugs will continuously flash red but will not go away no matter what movement or weapon swinging occurs. It is unpredictable and does not happen all the time. The only way to bypass this, is to save and quit to the menu and re enter the world.
