No idea what was doing this.

Hmm, do you have any other mods installed? If so, please post a list of them.
It might be the shaders that are causing this, you can disable them in the BL config.
To figure out where exactly the error is happening, please add the following to the VM args: "-Dbl.glDebug=true" and then post the log with that.

I have the shaders disabled. I remember there were several gas clouds nearby at the time, but nothing else stands out.
