This causes it to slow down drastically.

So, accidentally left it on the main menu overnight (~10 hours) on my laptop which was closed. Upon opening my laptop, I saw the menu absolutely FILLED with lights, then my computer crashed with a graphics rendering somesuch error BSOD.

Would probably be a good idea to add a cap on the lights, or have them disappear after a while.
