I suggest that when you place a gecko cage, if you were to place a gecko inside, then it would face towards where you were when you placed the cage. (IE if you placed it looking East, then instead of having the gecko face East, it would face West.)

Ah yes, that has also bothered me sometimes but I was too lazy to fix it haha
