either January or February should have a spring season event, since earth day, easter, and a bunch of other irish/earthy themed holidays are placed this time of year, foliage could appear a much brighter, vibrant green. greeblings could be changed to look like leprechauns, maybe even some four-leaf clovers could begin generating in the world, but later disappear after the event? something like that would be really fun, and i would love to see it

I like the idea of having more such events, but it's rather unlikely that such a thing will be added in the near future. Creating all the textures is a lot of work and it doesn't really add any new significant gameplay content.
