For some reason pigs will not interact with the feeding trough. I have tried carrots, beets, and potatoes. Feeding them by hand with these food items works fine. Trough is placed in the middle of the pen and not obstructed by other blocks.

Vanilla pigs or some modded pigs?
Do you use any other mod? Can you list them?
