CRABS:
General informations:Crabs are aquatic bottom dwellers, many common crabs are harvested mainly for their meat, crabs can be cool ambient critters, there are also landcrabs. They are fearsome looking and much tougher than fishes, they should have the same hp like fishes. They will be an excellent additions for Animania when the Aquatic Update hit. This idea was present to me by Mo' Creatures mod
Different types of crabs:

River crab spawn in swampland

Ocean crab spawn on the oceans floor of deep ocean biomes

Coconut crab and hermit crab spawn on beaches
Behavior:
- Ocean crabs and river crabs:
- Passive, and will run or craw away if attacked
- Sink, does not swim
- Has little armor points
- Coconut crabs:
-
Neutral, will fight back if attacked

Sink, does not swim

Has medium armor points
Despawning:
-
Ocean crabs spawn and despawn like squid, not sure how this will affect the mob cap for squid farms

Coconut crab and hermit crab does not despawn(this is only my opnion, they can be set to despawn if for convenience's sake)

River crabs spawn also despawn
Farming:

Crabs cannot be farmed domestically
Drops:

All crabs beside hermit crabs drop meats when killed. Meat properties: Heal the same as chickens, but when cooked, give mighty buffs that are more superior to other meat types, but only for a short period, when uncooked, give horrible debuffs, as crabs cannot be eaten raw irl.

Coconut crabs drop chitins when killed along with its meat, the chitin is used to make armor that has the same protection as chainmail but break easier, and maybe some form of weapon as well

Hermit crabs drop nothing
Taming:

All crabs are ambient creatures, thus untamable, however

Hermit crabs can be picked up and transport by right-clicking with an empty hand, and transformed into an item form
Hermit crabs:

Will tuck itself in if feel threatened, like near players of predators and hostile mobs

Item hermit crabs cannot be cooked, and can be placed down again by right-clicking a surface while holding it

Path towards sand surfaces.

Players can have them wander around their base

Hermit crabs, only have a small amount of armor points

Bonus: instead of generic armor points for them all the time, they can make use of the Shulker's armor points mechanics, low armor when exposed, but when tucked, has higher armor points
