Roost mod issue, chicken item spawn nothing when right-clicked

Expected Behavior
The chicken item from roost is supposed to spawn a vanilla chicken when right-clicked, with animania it should spawn a chicken corresponding to the biome type
Actual Behavior
Nothing spawn, but sometimes there is a chicken spawn
Steps to Reproduce
Get the item from roost
Right-click the ground multiple times
Version of Minecraft, version of Animania, Single Player or Server
MC 1.12.2
Animania 1.6.2
