Current Animania version provides only one configuration for milk, whether to let naturally spawned cows be milked or not; however, there's no way of configuring any of the ways in which milk is obtained. The issue here is the addition of several new milk types that can't be bypassed when using Animania cows, which can have tome adverse effects in modpack development:

• One of the most prominent examples here is compatibility with other mods and crafttweaker due to exponential increase of recipes when adding new bucket materials, as each bucket now can hold any given milk and needs to be accounted for.
• Limitation of modpack flexibility; although heavily realistic, having to deal with cows that produce different milk doesn't leave room for a "unified" milking mechanic in packs where farming is not the focus but who still benefit from the improved animal behavior.
• Unnecessary obfuscation of recipes with mods like Harvest Craft when intermediary recipes are added due to addition of various cheeses which are also added by several mods

Suggested solution: Adding a configuration option for simplified milking in which vanilla milk is the result for any cow regardless of breed and only good caring is needed

With this setting, the modpack developer can balance recipes and yield amount of dairy products around a single resource. The single vanilla-milk approach will improve compatibility with any mod that may rely on the default liquid in ways that are not supported by oreDict entries, unifying the item which is being worked on allows for alternative methods of obtaining that aren't directly related to real-life animals and allow for more flexibility and creativity all around.

Balance, compatibility, configurability, modpack friendliness and a well tailored experience are all affected positively by adding this setting. I hope the devs for this well polished mod can share a few of my points, enough to convince them of the benefits of having more options ^^
