I would like to know if there is anyway to stop animals from spawning or at least lower the rates someway via the config or gamerules? I'm building a map and they keep getting in my way, even when I tried to change the spawnRadius gamerule.
Does anyone know if I'm doing something wrong or is there no way to lower spawn rates?

(world is in creative BTW if that matters)

Also edit to say the world is superflat so I don't know if that effects it or not
