Mod seems to do nothing on 1.18.2

I installed the mod in the server's mod folders and edited the config to enable it. Still nothing happens. Plus, there are no errors in my logs. (Also, I tried v1.2.2 off curseforge and I tried v1.2.1 from the releases on this GitHub)
I am on Minecraft 1.18.2, forge 40.1.68, and here is my mod list:
(I also tried to run the server with just this one single mod but it didn't work and it wouldn't generate the config file for the mod)

I'll bring forge down to 40.1.0 and try it again and then Ill let you know the results, thanks!
I am unable to reproduce this issue on Forge version 1.18.2 - 40.1.0, with just anti-xray-1.2.2-Forge-1.18.2.jar installed.
I also don't really know what might be causing this, if you have already tested it with just anti-xray installed. Please attach a server log file, so I can take a look at that.

I switched to 40.1.0 on 1.18.2 and the only thing in my mods folder is "anti-xray-1.2.2-Forge-1.18.2.jar". I am still not seeing anything working... heres a screenshot and my server log

I am not a forge expert, but your logs look like unmodified / vanilla logs. The logs on my test forge server however have been modified by forge.
I have just created a version with debug messages.
To download that version, click this link github actions, unzip the file and navigate to forge/build/libs and grab anti-xray-1.2.2-Forge-1.18.2.jar
If you use that version a message like this should be printed during server startup.

And for every chunk packet that has been modified, a message like this should pop up

I am used to running 1.16.5 servers but moved to 1.18.2 recently. I was under the impression that the server.jar was the same for vanilla and forge servers cause when I tried it out it seemed to launch with all the mods. So maybe I have the wrong server.jar. I'll look into it, thanks for the lead.
