is there any way to change max socket on armor without having to compile the entire thing by myself, becaues i dont really know how to use java code so

Max sockets obtainable per-rarity are encoded in the rarity data files. Max sockets obtainable from the sigil of socketing are encoded in the recipe file. Both can be changed by making a datapack.
