1.20.1 Gem Socketing isn't working

Using the Curseforge Launcher and making a new profile in 1.20.1 Forge version 47.4.0 that only has apotheosis and its marked prerequisites installed. (apothic attributes, patchouli, and Placebo)
Creating a new world in creative with cheats on to test this, grabbed an anvil, two diamond chestplates, a brawler's gem, and a sigil of socketing.
I used the /apoth lootify apotheosis:epic command on one chestplate to give it socket slots and attempt to attach the gem to it and it doesn't work
Also trying to use the sigil to add a socket to the fresh chestplate didn't work either.
Not sure exactly when this bug happened, maybe in the last month or two. I am assuming it might have happened around when the 1.21 version of Apotheosis changed the socketing to be more similar to bundles.
