This is an issue between architectury and NeoForge. It is an arch bug and has nothing do with Apoth.

Hi, I also faced a similar problem today. The apotheosis works correctly on version 8.3.6, literally yesterday I checked on my work assembly. Today I decided to assemble a new one and downloaded the latest version 8.4.0 and nothing works.
