At the moment, the attribute menu is only available in Survival mode. Having it available in Creative mode would help with testing and whatnot.

It probably would but trying to make it visible in the creative menu would require uh... rewriting the entire thing, I think. I might be able to add a button which opens the survival inventory in creative to get it to show.
