For two items NEI shows a wrong (uncraftable) one.

• Bread basket, shows the full one
• Chopsticks holder, shows the empty one

The craftable versions only show if you do a usage lookup on one of the ingredients.

In the next update, this problem will be fixed.

When viewing a recipe with NEI, with reference to items that are not registered in the creative tab, it seems cause a malfunction.

So, some of the items the (empty bread basket, etc.) is registered in Creative tab, and this problem appears to be resolved.
