The letter T is not usable unless your directly over the search box for some ODD reason..

this seems to be a issue with the remote terminal only

JEI is an alternative to NEI for MC 1.8.9. But this isn't relevant to your issue.

The issue with 'T' not being registered is a known problem and is caused by ExtraUtilities/NEI.

ahh its something from bennies bees mod thats in my AE system its been removed but when it shows up it glitches..

The problem is caused by Nei , due to the binding of the key t to a sertaint inventory-command. You can rebind it by opening your Inventory -> click options in the bottom left -> KeyBindings -> Inventory -> rebind "Search for item in nearby Inventorys"
