Crafting Issues: The window closes when trying to craft an item

Here are a few images that may help with understanding what the setup is so that it may clear up if there are any issues. Now my problem is that whenever I click on an item in order to craft it, the window instantly closes and it will not craft. This does not even bring up the window that asks what the amount of items to craft is. For whatever reason this differs upon location.

Environment

To give the most information I am currently using the latest version of the "Project ozone 2 reloaded" mod pack. I feel like this is the best way to explain what my environment is.

  • Minecraft Version: 1.7.10
  • AE2 Version: appliedenergistics2-rv3-beta-6
  • Forge Version: 10.13.4.1614

thanks

i am sorry, but 1.7.10 is not supported anymore

the only hint i can make (since i can yet not see the image because of reasons on my side of the internet) is for you to make sure you have enough energycells installed, this could be a stalling issue with low power capacity in your ME system, depending on the size of the crafting recipe and number of items to move, you will have power spikes larger than your systems capacity and reset the system in consequence

I would like to reopen this issue. This still sometimes happens on 1.10.2, in the FTB Beyond pack. It is unclear why the UI sometimes works and sometimes closes immediately. When it's not working, the UI appears for a few frames and then disappears. I'm pretty sure it's not lack of energy as I've tried it with a creative energy cell attached to the network.

Pack: FTB Beyond 1.2.1
AE: appliedenergistics2-rv4-alpha-11
Forge: 1.10.2-12.18.3.2254
Additional mods: ChickenChunks-1.10.2-2.2.0.53

if you can replicate that issue more or less often, make screenshots of the setup(keep it simple as possible), press and hold F3 + C until mincraft forcibly crashes for a crashlog to have a bit more insight
then post all that into a new issue please, mixing issues with different versions is not helping :)

PS: creative energy cell was a beautiful solution, most people use any other "creative" energy and forgot about the systems internal buffer beeing limited :)

having same issue with the same mod pack.

@joshthegrate please open a new issue, BUT ONLY when can you reproduce this when you remove the following mods (only one at a time to probe down the culprit, make a backup of this actual world and make a fresh new testworld from that backup to test when you remove a mod, do not use those worlds again):
-mousetweaks
-foamfix
-ae2stuff
-unidict

PS thanks for the video this was VERY helping and simple too :) .. but hint for the next time, show chunkborders the next time to show where your build crosses chunkborders, this may not be important but still helping if it comes to loading issues :)

@kalenedrael this is why i said make a new issue, people start crossversion posting on issues then!
