Spatial Storage - Extradimensional quirks

I've tested these bugs on the to-my-knowledge currently unsupported 1.7.10 version of AE2, and im posting less for the purpose of reporting the bugs, and more for documentation of the actual features of the mod, intended or not, since i found no posts relating to this elsewhere.

I've been playing around with spatial storage fairly extensively on a star wars server with Ae2, and in the process of attempting to move a ship out of the end, i discovered that when entering the cell yourself, you are transported to the coordinates that you were at in the end, as opposed to the coordinates of the cell.

Whilst this would be a bug in itself, i decided to test the limitations of the dimension, which has interesting properties. Whilst no blocks exist in the greater "cell-dimension", one can attempt placing angel blocks to build off of. This , does not work. Corroborating with a player in the overworld at the exact same coordinates, angel blocks appear after a delay of about 90 seconds in the overworld when placed in the 'cell-dimension'. This is also true of block-generating devices such as the lux capacitors from Modular powersuits, and clouds-in-a-bottle. The player, upon relogging or dying will be transported to their relative coordinates in the overworld, and the only way to actually re-enter is to 'piggy-back' through the end again.

as i understand it, the dimension contains no light, and unless a cell is constructed and placed there, no chunk data exists for blocks to be placed, i can't speculate why blocks revert to the overworld upon placement though. Its interesting to note that upon attempting to obtain coordinates for a teleporter to return, that they obtain the coordinates for an overworld location, using dimension "0", however within a storage cell, coordinates can be reliably obtained and teleported back to, the dimension usually being "22".

Although i did not investigate thoroughly, i noticed several entities of unknown shape and purple/pink colouring floating in the 'cell-dimension' in the distance, although its hard to gauge any distance at all in a dimension without proper light or frame-of-reference for distances.

Considering any practical mis-uses for this dimension, once could use it to infiltrate bases or travel distances, however the dimension seems to be divided up into chunks which are separated by invisible walls of the same blocks that render the barriers of a storage cell impermeable. Whilst im led to believe that damage from things such as a wither can render the barrier void, this sounds like myth to me as explosions of every magnitude and type have been unable to pierce it to date.

I have tested the ic2 teleporter, mekanism teleporter, telepad from ender io, the staff of travelling - even going so far as to test teleportation between cells, and of course, ender pearls. None of these devices work in breaching the cells barrier, and all either have inbuilt limitations to prevent this, or are unable to provide teleportation beyond the limits of the cell/chunk. interesting, when using commands on a server such as /home, /tpa or as a staff, /tp player 1 player 2, they all teleport the player to the relative placement within the 'cell-dimension', the only thing that overrides this is by killing oneself, or relogging. accordingly, if a player is /tpa'd to a player in the 'cell-dimension' they end up in the appropriate coordinates in the overworld.

I'm not sure what to have expected, perhaps a dimension to build in limitlessly, but the dimension is equal parts designed to prevent abuse, and incredibly quirky.
