Description

  1. Putting a lot of items into the ME Network using spacebar doesn't move the entire contents of the 36 slots at once like it is supposed to.
  2. crafting blocks (3x3) out of any material only crafts 21 blocks at most before the bottom row of items doesn't put itself into the crafting field, even if enough resources are present.

btw, this is not only with this dust but with all items i tested it with.

you are describing an power issue, please repeat your test with an creative energy cell (the one from ae2)

If this solves your issue just remember this simple formula

Max input = me capacity / tick

Even with an infinite power source.

An creative energy cell means infinite capacity.

If the issue persists, er can reopen the issue :)

wait, this is a power thing? but how?

I have more than enough power to run the ME, it takes like 26RF/t and i got it connected via Mekanism Cables which transfer 1.28kRF/t from a completely full Energy Cell. there is no possible way i don't have enough power for this.

i try to put it simple (no sarcasm, people say i sound harsh but i dont mean it)

you got an basic ME network with aan controller or power input, both have a capacity are worth like a 10l bucket of water

if something happens in the me network it taps into this bucket of water, lets say 10 ml per Item

moving 1000 items emtyp this bucket (items are not moved in stacks but item per item)

but the bucket only gets refilled once per tick ... irrelevant if it gets refilled from an dripping dwell or the niagara falls, it can only hold 1 bucket water and you action will result in a power loss for one tick

adding an basic energy cell from AE2 adds a whole bathtub to this bucket :)

this is also a common source of inresponsive large networkts with extrem TPS drops, when the system runs out of power while it is booting up, it is in an infinte loop of booting and running out of power ... and booting a large network takes a lot of CPU power causing lags

so the problem is the energy accepter not drawing power fast enough...?

welp the energy cell solved it. kinda strange, i never had this problem until now.

probably because this is the first ME i ever made without Controller

also i just noticed that despite me having set the Energy unit to RF in the Config, Energy cells are still shown in AE... may want to look into that

one thing though, when you change GUIs while in the ME (Crafting) terminal, like for example starting an autocrafting job, looking at currently active jobs, looking up a recipe on JEI, etc. it deletes whatever it in the search bar, which is quite inconvenient at times

not sure if that is worth a new issue

commented

please open new issues for those ones, closed issues are rarely reviewed by the devs

i did not check for the AE instead of RF showing but if it is a thing this should be addressed

for the other thing, you can switch the search modes to be synced to JEI, just hit the search mode buttoin and try to find a mode that suits you best :)

wait there were modes added for this.

i mean i don#t get why but hey it works... half, it also keeps the serach bar when exiting the Terminal... which is a bit annoying
