Crafting CPU crashes ME System

Okay, first off, having read about 100 of these looking for answers, no the issue is not the number of channels. No, I do not have a quantum link, just a simple system. I built 8 crafting CPUs in a 3x1x3 using 4 64K Crafting storages, 3 Coprocessors, 1 monitor, 1 crafting unit. There are 3 interfaces on the same Dense cable, configured to Ender IO conduits to run Thermal Expansion machines. When I first connect the cpus, for the minute or so before the system shuts down, there are 11/32 channels in use. This is from my own calculation and the tooltip that pops up when looking at the cable. Even if I only connect 1 CPU, it shuts down after about a minute. Power is not an issue as I have a fully powered dense cell attached and the system is so small it only requires about a 50th of what I produce. It will even complete craft jobs if they are small enough to complete in the short window before the system crashes, but no matter what I do the system shuts down if a crafting CPU is connected.
Also, the entire system is in the same chunk. No cables cross into another chunk.
