Memory card only works in Single Player

Description
When using a memory card online to link p2p tunnels, it says it copied the data, but also clears the card, so there is no way I can link p2p tunnels.
Environment
Works fine in SP, only occurs in MP.
- Minecraft Version: 1.12.2
- AE2 Version: rv6-stable-7
- Forge Version: 14.23.5.2836
