[Feature Request] Sort by ID / Integration with Inventory Profiles Next (or similar mods)

Describe the feature
(Starting with Versions above 1.12.2) It would be great to have the option to sort the items by ID like in the old days with inventory tweaks, though it shouldnt be reliant on another mod (not sure if it was, but that would make sense, why the feature is missing in newer versions)
Reasons why it should be considered
Its convenient to sort by ID as thats what jei (or similar mods) do, which minecraft internally does and which most players are familiar with, if they use jei or creative mode sometimes.

I believe there's already an option to sort items on a terminal by their Mod namespace, which in turn would (I assume) sort them by the order that the game registers them all in.
As far as i can tell, its possible to sort by mod, thats correct, but sorting by mod results in minecraft being somewhere in the middle. Additionally, afterwards everything in the mod namespace is sorted alphabetically, which again is the same problem as sorting alphabetically in the first place, you just first group them by mod.
The creative inventory is not sorted by id, and I don't think JEI is either. So, I don't really think this request makes sense.
Ok sorry, maybe i didnt explain it precicesly enough of what i meant. I will try my best to do this better this time.
What I meant was, in the new versions (and even old ones) Items in Creative and Jei are sorted and grouped by their Item or Block group, so all Concrete blocks are grouped together, all stone types are grouped together, all glass types are and so on. Additionally, the Items and Blocks of Minecraft itself is always first. Afterwards all the other mods are sorted alphabetically.
This does make sense, so glass is always grouped together, just like wool and they are always in the exact same order (white, orange, magenta...).
Itemwise it makes sense aswell, Iron items are grouped togehter, diamond, gold and so on, always in the same order (helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots).
So, to make it easier to find items (as most people are acustomed to the way jei does it) it would make sense to adopt this and sort like the creative menu or jei does it.
