R/U keybinds from REI not working after non REI sync'd search in terminal

Describe the bug
I could not find an issue already open for this, but I did find one person mention it in the dev-talk channel in the discord (though it seems nothing came of it).
The issue I am seeing is that when you have a terminal set to not sync with REI search, and you search for something in the terminal's search box, the R and U recipe hotkeys with REI no longer work. This bug only happens after a search and the search box being unfocused, not before. So if you open the terminal and try to use R/U, it works perfectly, but as soon as you search for something the keys no longer do anything.
I am currently running the All of Fabric 6 modpack, and it is using version 12.8.5 of the mod (which appears to be the latest fabric version). This is also while on a dedicated server.
How to reproduce the bug
- Disable REI sync on a terminal
- Disable AutoFocus on the terminal
- Open terminal and press R when hovering over an Item - Works
- Perform a search in the terminal's search box
- Click on something or press enter to unfocus the search box
- Hover over an Item and press R - Does not work
Expected behavior
Expect R/U hotkeys to work any time a text box is not in focus.

I just found out from a bit more testing that it only happens when you click somewhere else to clear the focus, not when you press enter to clear focus / finish search.
