When requesting auto-crafting of items while shift+clicking a recipe into the crafting grid from JEI or REI, the crafted items should automatically be moved into the right slots they were requested from, as they become available.

Either that or:
Show missing items dimmed in crafting grid.
Have a button to request missing items in the grid.
