When I connect an energy acceptor to my controller to keep the 32 channels of the controller's face, I only get 8 channels. I read online that the acceptor is supposed to give all 32 channels.

If the information I found online is incorrect and the number of channels that should get passed through an energy acceptor is indeed 8, then I'm sorry for wasting your time.

The energy acceptor, like most ae2 devices, acts like a normal cable capable of transmitting 8 channels, where did you read 32

But now that I read it again, is says it doesn't waste 32 channels, which ofcourse doesn't mean it has 32 channels.
