Describe the bug

I would like to know why doe it prevent me from loading minecraft completely. I t was fine early this day but idk why it just stopped working. I tested all my mods(12) 1 after another, only ae2 would do this. I can's really provide any info on the section "How to reproduce the bug" since it crashes after some time I pressed the green play button on the launcher. The crash message gave me no crash report and returned an exit code of 1.

I would really appreciate if anyone could help me fix it!
Thanks!

How to reproduce the bug

  1. Install the ae2 mod
  2. Start the launcher
  3. Select the forge profile
  4. Press play
  5. wait for it to crash

Expected behavior

When I press play on the launcher, the game should start with the mod installed.

Additional details

File name:
appliedenergistics2-forge-11.7.0.jar

I have to use 1.18.2 cuz I'm playing on a server.

Which minecraft version are you using?

1.18

On which mod loaders does it happen?

Forge

Crash log

Uh, none(Read "Describe the bug")

commented

Uh, I solved it by deleting the config folder. Thanks for the help!

commented

can you please post the latest.log?
even when no crash log is generated, there should still be a latest.log

commented

May I ask where can I find the latest.log? Thanks!

commented

it is in the "logs" folder

2023-03-22-26.log.gz

this is an older log, and I think it is not related to the crash you were describing in the original post
the crash in this log is caused by carpet mod (probably an incompatibility with another mod you have installed)

the reason why I think it isn't related is the last line, which hints at a crash log:

[223¤ë2023 17:47:18.859] [Render thread/FATAL] [net.minecraftforge.common.ForgeMod/]: Preparing crash report with UUID ce92868b-1e43-4d80-926c-69e904ef85ab

The file that IS related to the crash should be named "latest.log" and be in the same folder

commented

oh! I removed it cuz it doesn't really work on servers! But that is already the latest log I can find. What should I do now?

commented

I removed the mod before the ae2 problem occurred. Just fyi

just start the instance again, a new latest.log will be generated

I assumed so, that is why I said it probably isn't related

^new instance log

the file should be called "latest.log" (not some-date.log.gz, that are older logs), the file you send is a (different, newer) log with the same carpet related crash as the other one

commented

latest.log
Maybe this one?
It has latest in it's name

commented

Apparently the problem comes from the carpet mod, I don't think this is related to AE2. You should also remove Optifine if you don't want issues with mods.

commented

nope, removing optifine doesn't work

commented

But I don't have it installed

commented

I'll try removing optifine

commented

Not an AE2 issue.

securitycraft.mixins.json

Whatever that mod is, remove or update it.

tried removing every single mod but ae2, still doesn't work. Image:
