Would be really cool if the spatial IO port could select which direction the internal cell would get placed into the world.

Maybe this functionally would be better as a separate block like a spatial storage workbench. Then other functionality like reformatting the cell could also be added.

Reasons why it should be considered

Spatial IO is really cool!

While cool, I am not hopeful we will ever implement this, since there is no standardized interface to rotate block entities.
