I understand the want for this, but I think this is something you could actually set up for yourself; You could create a p2p connection to the input of a bank of crafting devices and have that have its own terminal next to your main network terminal. Then even if you have machines spread all across your base, you could still have access to their inputs from a central ad hoc crafting area. You would need several terminals, but coloured cables should help differentiate them :)
