It seems to happen to all ae2 items and items from an addon called Extended AE (i know for those two things not so sure about any of the other addons i have), at most i can only see the tags (not nbt tags) for the items. I'll go test which mod might be causing the issue.

Found the mod that's causing the issue (atleast for me) it is: ae2wtlib (mod file name)
Link to the mod: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/applied-energistics-2-wireless-terminals

Thank you! But it only happens with REI. I tried using JEI+EMI (and with AE2wtlib) and it worked perfectly fine.

Good to know for if i'll really want to use ae2wtib and the issue won't have been fixed yet.

You can also check your latest.log for errors or warnings.

Generally the normal AE2 crafting recipes (i.e. the recipe to craft an ME terminal) are just normal crafting recipes and are not handled any differently from vanilla recipes, so I have no clue how those could not work...

This happens to me as well

If you are playing a modpack, you should report it to that modpack.
If you are not playing a modpack, I think you'll have to yeet mods one-by-one to figure out which one is causing this, since with just REI and AE2, I don't actually see a problem.

(Unless you really have to give more details if it only happens in specific screens or for specific items)
