I have noticed that the texture for the Formation Core and the Annihilation Core is the same texture since the retexturing for 1.21 with only a slight difference in colour to be able to tell them apart.

The colour is not super noticeable, especially not for someone who has a colour deficiency. To make it easier to tell these two items apart (since they are often used together or in similar recipes) it would be nice to see one of them rotated 90 degrees or flipped horizontally.

Reasons why it should be considered

Better accommodation for a wider userbase and (in my opinion) better use experience where you can more quickly tell which item is which.

Here is my example of the annihilation core being rotated 90 degrees next to the original formation core.
