Title. REI has had Forge releases for some time and support for them would be much appreciated.

Reproduction

Reproduction requirements:

• Forge 40.2.0 for Minecraft 1.18.2
• REI 8.3.588
• Architectury API 4.11.89
• Cloth Config API 6.3.81
• REI Plugin Compatabilities 8.0.42
• Applied Energistics 11.7.0
• Mekanism 10.2.5
• Applied Mekanistics 1.2.1

Reproduction steps:

• place an ME interface
• Try to set the interface to stock Hydrogen by dragging from REI to an interface slot

What happens?

The interface slot remains empty; it does not recognise the dragged gas

What did you expect to happen?

The interface slot is configured to stock the dragged gas

I don't think Mekanism natively supports REI, so probably not much I could do. I'll have a look

This could potentially be an issue more on REI Plugin Compat's end. If so, I'll reopen there

You're right that it doesn't. The 'REI Plugin Compatabilities' mod captures the registered JEI plugins and convinces them they are talking to JEI, when actually it's REI

Can confirm this is still not resolved with Applied Mekanistics 1.2.2 for 1.18.2
