Importing Non-Native Mekanism Chemicals

Playing All the Mods 8 v1.0.21b

I am unable to import any slurries from the All the Ores mod.

Disappointing considering this would have been an excellent way to automate ore quintupling!

The issue is you had the gas type as output, and appmek was trying to pull gasses instead of continuing to the other chemicals. You can just close everything but the chemical type you want for now, but I'll make a fix.

Are you sure it's not working with just the new slurries?

It doesn't look like All the Ores is open source anymore, so it would be helpful for their authors to have a look themselves.

ATO is still open source, here ---> https://github.com/AllTheMods/AllTheOres

That only has up to 1.16.5, we don't even support that version

There's a separate branch under that repo for 1.19 and for 1.20.

Ah right 🤦 I'll have a look then

I'm able to import other chemicals, although I'll admit I did not try them all. Here's what I tried in a creative world:

  1. Constructed an ME system with a controller and a disk drive with a 256k chemical storage drive.
  2. Attached an external storage bus set to extract only on a creative chemical tank with clean allthemodium slurry. Does not appear in the ME system, became confused.
  3. Tried replacing the external storage bus with an import bus. Still no results.
  4. Replaced the creative tank with an ultimate one. No results.
  5. Replaced allthemodium slurry with sulfuric acid. Import bus and storage bus work nominally.

I'll see if I can share this with the All the Ores devs. Thanks!

Do any of the other slurries work? If not, make sure the sides are configured properly to allow import/export of slurries

Firstly, I opened an issue here, but it looks like they're swamped so it might be a hot minute 'till it gets addressed.

I can confirm the sidedness of the tank was set to output on the top with the bus attached to the top. Okay that said, secondly I just finished testing this in a creative superflat world per your suggestion, but this time it works fine? I booted back into my original test world and can confirm something unique to that world is breaking the importing of slurries, but I cannot determine what is doing it. Any suggestions?

Here are the download links to the new superflat and my original testing world if it helps:

Okay, further testing done:

  1. Broke the storage bus on the chemical tank.
  2. Broke the ME drive.
  3. Reattached the storage bus. Works nominally.
  4. Readded the ME drive. Nominal.
  5. Broke and replaced the storage bus. Nominal.

I will mention the world download I provided is still in a state where the storage bus is not functioning if it's still worth the diagnostics.
