This mod adds 6 new armor trims. It would be cool to see support for the mod.

Sure! I was already planning to add support for other mods, I just hadn't yet figured out how best to do it, but I have an idea.

Adding to this, do the textures automatically work with modded armor? For example, do the new armor item trim textures show up from armor added by a mod?

If you mean, do the new textures for vanilla trims show up on modded armor without any work, then no, the game will just default back to the vanilla textures, as the item models for armor must be modified. As of the current release, this must be done manually.

I'll give it a try. I have had issues in the past with trying to backport mods (even if the used to work on that version) so can't promise I will be successful
