I believe the guardian scales drop too much for what they're worth we set up a farm 4 hours ago and we have 20 stacks of the stuff per farm and we didnt even light up the caves properly in the area yet.

Is this normal guardians farm ?

This is a "vanilla" guardians farm we kill them with lava and tinkers punji sticks so infernal mobs with fire prot die too.I can check but i dont think theres anything in the modpack that would modify your droprates, we get 1 every guardian it seems.

Bloodmoons might incrase spawning but still its the dropchance thats seems to be too high if you ask me.

well, thats the point of farms, If you find an exploit use it, but this is intended. you will actually get almost the same results if you do farms for other mobs for vanilla. (Its normal)

Yes definitely better, i mean u need to cater to both someone who goes in and melees like 30 guardians because he wants 1 set for the ultimate but you also need to balance it for us who filled half a dia chest with scales on the previous version in like 6 hours with a crude setup, i totally understand both sides. :D

Yeah I get that much after playing minecraft for ~5 years :D its just that even by playing on hardmode(your configs) it seems off to get the stuff this easily but if its intended thats ok im sure i can modify it with AdditionalLootTables since in our modpack it really shouldnt be this easy to get this many in this little time - we can gear up an army with this much already and thats bad gameplay mechanic in my opinion its shouldnt be a guaranteed drop- thats all :) going to test stuff now

we get a stack per monument and after that we have the armor to explore more monuments even with hardmode its not an issue sadly... 16 sets per monument is what we get #broken -sorry but it is since I can achieve this with vanilla in 2 days playing 10hours per day at max. I either make elder guardians always spawn as infernals making it harder to get a monument cleared or i change the loottable for gurdians. Sorry if i sound cocky or anything but your armors are so op i cant let them being handed out to players in at tops 4 days of playtime thats why Im so keen on my point but i get it that its not your but my job to tweak this to my modpack! :D

don't worry 1.9.4-3.1.7.0 will make guardians drop 0 - 1 guardian scales

I realized how cheap I had made it when I added Guardians to drop 1 guardian scale per death, now its better.
