Skins failed to download

I tried to download a few skins, but I get Throwable$WrappedPrintStream:println:-1: at riskyken.armourersWorkshop.common.skin.data.serialize.SkinPartSerializer.loadSkinPart(SkinPartSerializer.java:54).
1st skin:

It seems the mod was trying to parse the skin. I can see bite-code in the log:
